How Can I Boost My Keyword Ranking in Search Engines
Posted by admin on 10/7/06 in Search Engine Optimization
Here are two of the most effective ways to boost your rankings for any given keywords:
1) Create a 300-600 word article about anything you want - however, if the article is related to your Web site, the better the ranking becomes.
In the bio section or signature line, most Article Directories allow you to post either one, or two links, some even more (read their terms and conditions). Rather than simply adding your link, anchor text it while adding another keyword to its title.
For instance, add the following but change to suit:
Code:
http://www.yourdomain.com†title=â€your-main-keyword/phraseâ€>Your Keyword
Job done. Repeat the process over and over again for every single keyword and or phrase you want to rank for in the search engines, and post to as many Article Directories as you can.
You can start by posting to this Article Directory
If you’re looking for more article directories to post to, use the contact form and let me know, I’ll send some out to you to get you started.
2) Link Directories are another good method to increase your page rank.
Use the same methods similar to above, though you will not need to go through adding all of the special html code in your submissions, just type the keyword you want to rank for in the subject box, enter a description of your Web site.
The closer the description you can get to your keyword, again the better. Enter the max allowed characters and submit.
if you would like a list of Link Directories to submit to, again, let me know via the Article Directory and I’ll pass them on.
You can start by posting a link here. Link Directory.
[Note: The Got-Zip Network Has Multiple Link Directories as well, starting with Pagellan’s Search Directory.]
